This week my intention is to include more “superfoods” into my regular meals. I’ve been hearing a lot about coconut water lately so I decided to add it to my smoothie routine. I had this early Sunday morning to get me powered up for my masters swim practice.
Tropical Sunrise Green Monster
- 1-1.5 cups of coconut water
- 1/2 large banana
- 2 frozen strawberries
- A few chunks of frozen mango
- Spoonful of unpasteurized honey
- Scoop of protein powder (I use Sun Warrior vanilla)
- Scoop of greens powder (I use LivingFuel Super Greens with spirulina and other green goodies)
- Handful of spinach leaves
- A splash of water (as much as you need to get a good texture)
Try this with a little pineapple too!
